Founder’s Story
With over 15 years of experience in corporate accounting, I’m a DMV native who thrives in high-pressure environments. A perfectionist at heart, I have an exceptional eye for detail, making accounting not just a profession but a passion. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from University of Maryland Global Campus, and my expertise allows me to navigate complex financial landscapes with ease. Tight deadlines? I excel under them, delivering accuracy and efficiency without compromise!
Experience
I’ve always had a deep connection to numbers and the way they bring structure and clarity to puzzling situations. While I enjoy all aspects of organizational development, my true passion is in accounting, taxes, tax resolution, and helping people navigate the often-overwhelming tax code. From a young age, I’ve had a natural ability to see the patterns in numbers, which made me not only a wiz at science projects but also at simplifying and sharing numerical data in a way that others can easily understand.
However, my love for taxes began as a young adult. I witnessed a close relative, who was a pillar of strength for me growing up, feeling terrified to the point of paralysis, by letters from the IRS. So terrified in fact, they only felt comfortable reading the notices with me present - they needed someone they thought ‘spoke numbers’ was in their corner.
Passion
Watching the agony my loved one went through, led me to survey my circle of friends and colleagues. It amazed me how many people – even accountants – experienced the same nauseating stress as my family member, just at the uttering of the letters IRS.
I was raised to stand for justice and fight for those who can’t fight for themselves. With my skills and protective nature, I knew I could bring real peace to people’s lives. This is my calling, and I’m driven by it every day. After helping dozens of clients, I refuse to accept that so many people feel bullied by a system that’s meant to serve them. It fuels my commitment to take action and ensure they receive the support they deserve.
