Late FBAR Filing
We prepare and file overdue FinCEN Form 114 reports from your account records, with the right maximum values and a submission route that suits your history.
Filing FBAR for previous years doesn't have to be a crisis. Assured Financial Services, led by an IRS Enrolled Agent, helps individuals, expats and internationally connected businesses figure out which FinCEN reports were missed, gather the account data, and file through the procedure that fits. We look at the related tax returns too, and we represent you with the IRS if a balance or penalty question comes up.

Help with late foreign account reports, the tax returns tied to them, and any IRS issues that follow.
We prepare and file overdue FinCEN Form 114 reports from your account records, with the right maximum values and a submission route that suits your history.
A year by year look at your foreign accounts, balances and ownership so we know what must be reported and what may have been missed on your returns.
When late reporting overlaps with unreported income, a tax balance or an IRS notice, we weigh the relief options and the facts that support them.

A short call about where your accounts are, when they were opened, and what you've filed so far. That usually tells us which years are open and whether your tax returns or other international forms also need attention.
International reporting problems need careful work and someone who answers for it.
The founder is an Enrolled Agent, so the tax side of your FBAR catch up is covered too.
You work with the founder directly and hear back from the person doing the work.
Foreign accounts, overseas income, FATCA reporting and expat returns are regular work for us.
If late reporting leaves a balance or penalty, we handle the IRS resolution as well.
Careful help for people with money and accounts in more than one country.

Yes. A missed FBAR can still be filed late through FinCEN's BSA electronic filing system. How you file matters, though. If all the income from those accounts was reported on your tax returns and you haven't been contacted by the IRS, the Delinquent FBAR Submission Procedures may fit. If income was left off, the Streamlined Filing Compliance Procedures, which pair amended or late returns with the FBARs, are usually the better route for people whose failure wasn't willful. We sort that out before anything is filed.
