Clearer S Corp Filing, Better Decisions

The S corp election saves many owners real money on self employment tax, but only if the details are handled right. Salary has to be defensible. Distributions need to stay within basis. Shareholder loans need paperwork. Our Enrolled Agent prepares your 1120-S and K-1s from reconciled books and checks those points every year, then tells you in plain terms what to adjust for next year. If an old return ever comes back to bite you, we can represent you before the IRS too.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which software should my S corporation use for taxes?

There isn't one right answer. What matters more than the tax software is the bookkeeping system feeding it. If QuickBooks Online or a similar platform is set up properly, with payroll, shareholder distributions and loans recorded in the right accounts, the 1120-S almost prepares itself. Software can't tell you whether an owner's salary is reasonable or whether a distribution exceeded basis, though. That still takes a person who understands S corporation rules.
